The Queen’s House is a truly unique, iconic and stylish wedding venue.  Conceived as a ‘House of Delight’ for James I’s queen, this exquisite former royal residence is set in the green and leafy surroundings of Greenwich Park, London, with spectacular views across the gardens of historic Greenwich to the River Thames and the contrasting skyscrapers of Canary Wharf beyond.

The Great Hall

The Striking Beauty of this former Royal residence is epitomized by it's Great Hall. The original black-and-white marble floor provides a location for wedding ceremonies and dinner. The high ceiling features a magnificent contemporary work in gold leaf by Turner Prize-winning artist Richard Wright. The tall windows towards the front of the Hall reveal spectacular views toward the Thames across the north lawns.

The Orangery and South Parlours

The Orangery and South Parlours are the ideal space for small wedding ceremonies and receptions. Bathed in southern light and breathtaking views up towards the Royal Observatory, this elegant space opens up on to the south lawns with vista's out to one of London's oldest Royal Parks. Make your vows in the Van de Veldes' studio surrounded by a world-class art collection and enjoy drinks or an intimate dinner in the Governor's Parlour.

The Undercroft

Continue your celebrations into the night in the Undercroft beneath the Great Hall. These vaulted chambers create an atmospheric party space for dancing and after-dinner entertainment, with room for a DJ or band, a bar and a lounge area.

From drinks on the lawns with sweeping park views, to unforgettable ceremonies and dinners the Queen’s House is a very special place to celebrate.The Orangery and South Parlours, bathed in light and romance, are perfect for intimate receptions and ceremonies with up to 50 guests. Alternatively, the Great Hall can accommodate up to 120 guests within its impressive walls. The Great Hall enjoys views over the Thames and boasts a magnificent black and white marble floor. In addition, there are stunning photographic opportunities in the beautiful grounds and stone colonnades, ideal for capturing special moments for your wedding album.
